I would give zero stars if I could. As someone who has a vet tech degree and has worked in the animal industry for 17+ years, I have seen some great and some not so great things. The receptionist was rude, the hospital policies are clearly in place to overcharge a client as much as possible and the clinical skills of the vet tech and vet were questionable. I reluctantly brought in an animal in an emergency situation and rest assured I don't care if I have to drive another half hour I will never set foot in that place again. In no hospital that I've ever been to, as an employee or a client, has an emergency been told to sit and wait, or asked how payment would be made before the animal was even seen. In no hospital I've been to has any decent, competent veterinarian allowed an unskilled vet tech (assuming this person even has those credentials) to try in vain to administer euthanasia solution, only succeeding in blowing the vein and letting the animal's suffering go on for several minutes longer than necessary. I was appalled. This may be the place to take your perfectly healthy animal for a yearly physical if you don't mind being overcharged for an office visit and don't mind rude staff, but have a back up plan for when the time comes that your pet is either sick or injured because I don't believe this hospital to be competent in any way.
