When my kitty was diagnosed to have his leg amputated by an emergency vet, Dr. Hufnagel was able to save his leg. He kept my cat for 2 weeks and charged me a very minimal fee. He does what is right by the animals and isn't driven by money. His staff was extremely helpful, knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend them!
I wish I could get my money back from this clinic. This might be the worst veterinary clinic I've ever taken my dog too. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and they didn't know how to manage it well. As a result, my dog developed mature cataracts and is completely blind now because they didn't suggest testing at the correct frequency. There are numerous complaints against this office because they don't know how to manage diseases and chronic illnesses at all. This office is only good for prescribing normal medications and giving shots - that's about it. HIGHLY SUGGEST you look at Bradford Hills vet clinic instead: they are far better, much more affordable, and way more friendly than this office.
our dog Smokey was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. Dr. Hufnagel said they were the worst hips he's ever seen on a dog. Without hesitation Dr. H said lets get him signed up for surgery and after the first leg heals we'll do the 2nd leg. Don't worry about money i'll give you a good deal, lets just get the dog taken care of...that's our first priority...making sure we fix your dog. 2 months after the first hip was healed we did the 2nd hip and smokey is doing wonderful now. We would of had to put smokey to sleep within a couple years if we didn't get to have to surgery done but thanks to Dr. Hufnagel he did it for us and now smokey can live a long and happy life pain free! We love you Dr. H!! thanks for all you do
