Wsa new to the area about 10 years ago, having pets in the past it was importen to me & my wife to find a Good Vet. We asked around an 90% told us of an older vet notted above. I beleave Mr Donaldson was the started this Hospital years back with His Daughter heading the wonderful staff now.We have seen them for years & very happy with there services. I've been going to this vet for years for both cats and dogs. I've noticed in recent years the level of care has decreased, especially with one blonde, female employee who works the front desk and assists with the animals when needed. She has little compassion for you or your animal and when you call to ask a question, it's almost like you're burdening her. I'm really considering switching vets because of this employee. It is the last place a person with no compassion should be working.

They used to be wonderful but not so much anymore. Their prices are still pretty reasonable for office visits and XRays and they generally didn't push unnecessary procedures (at least they didn't used to). If you can see Dr. Ally I would definitely choose her, she is compassionate with both owner and dog and really cares. My issue now with the practice is the fact that they have apparently started using contract vets in addition to the regular vets. Plus there can be some uncertainty over who exactly you will see when you get there. I do NOT like contract vets as I've never had any confidence in their skills (spoken from experience I assure you) and have switched to KVET Animal Care instead.

I used to go to this vet a few years ago before we moved out of the area. We recently got 2 stray cats, and I decided to get them immunized & one of them examined. I went to this vet because their prices used to be very reasonable (I was told when I used to go there that Dr. Donaldson didn't believe in charging for an office visit... only for the services rendered.) So I took my cats here (since they're strays, I was going to let them stay...but outside, and my husband doesn't want to put lots of money into them). Not only did they charge me for TWO office visits (including the cat that was only getting shots - not a check up), but they talked me into blood tests too. I ended up spending more than $200 for that visit (and it was right before Christmas!) The doctor wasn't even thorough on the cat she was supposed to examine, nor did she address the couple questions I had concerning the kitten & why I wanted him examined. I won't be going back to this vet again and recommend that you don't either... unless you're not looking for that abnormal vet who actually cares about the animals more than making a few bucks.
