I have used Stanglein Vet Clinic for the past few years and they have been NOTHING but AWESOME! I never have to wait long for an appointment and when something comes up with one of the boxers they always make sure they are seen the same day! It is always clean and I trust the doctors here over anywhere else in a heartbeat! They ALWAYS take the time to sit and explain things and you always feel like you and your pet are the only ones there! I initially started seeing Dr Terry when I lived in the Lehigh valley and I since have moved to the Poconos in 2009 and still to this day it is a worthwhile trip to Northampton! I would never go anywhere else and always appreciate the knowledge and expertise of the doctors at SVC! Keep up the good work!

I've read a couple negative reviews of Stanglein Veterinary Clinic, and it was important to me to publish this review about my experiences, because those negative reviews are the exact OPPOSITE of my experience with this clinic and its staff and doctors. Dr. Terry and Dr. Nate have treated no fewer than 5 of our animals, and in each case I've found them to be incredibly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Both of them seems to have a sixth sense for caring for animals - it is clear these people not only love their jobs, but were born to be veterinarians. Included in the care they have given our animals is: life-saving heart surgery, knee and hip surgeries on our dogs (including cutting-edge rehab work). They have also spayed/neutered our dogs and cats, and all of them are very happy and healthy. Dr. Terry and Dr. Nate have been available to us 24/7. We've needed to call them on numerous on weekends/evenings, and they always pick up their phone and happily assist us. I've also found that their rates are more than reasonable. The facilities and staff at the Clinic are top-notch. The Clinic features an excellent rehab program, including cold laser treatment and a water treadmill, which I am convinced have extended our dog's life by several years. The results speak for themselves. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their animals to be treated with the absolute best care, and who desires an overall excellent customer service experience.

I have been using Stanglein Veterinary Clinic for over 25 years. Dr Stanglein and the staff have always been professional, attentive, and truly compassionate. I would not trust any my pets with any other vet clinic.

If you want to see your dog again, don't take them here to be spaded or neutered. Two dogs are in critical condition and fighting for their lives because they got sepsis from being neutered here! They are dirty, irresponsible, very unprofessional! Friends of mine, the Ford's, dog dies after being fixed here! How many more dogs have to die before something is done to this vet?????

Always too long a wait. Last time I hung outside 5-10 mins. Fifteen mins after my scheduled appt., I was ushered into a wait room. I specifically looked at my watch & waited FIFTEEN mins, (30 mins past my appt time) & poked my head out to inquire how much longer. They did not know. I said that I could wait another 5 mins. After almost 10 mins we left, totaling 40 mins. I asked for my records, that I wouldn't be back, every time was a wait or an emergency. I wouldn't be writing this if it weren't for the audacity of "Lisa" who typed on my records that after FIVE minutes of waiting in the exam room, I came out, which is an outright lie. I don't need attitude. Then she told me that whatever vet I go to there will be a wait. I disagree. When I made this appt., I expressed my concern about repeated wait time. They were extremely backed up so had plenty of time they could have had the courtesy to call me. I was there for a simple nail clipping, which did not even require the Dr. I will find another vet. I may have wait time, but half of theirs is welcome, and good customer service matters. Many times upon calling, I am told "please hold", they don't even ask if I am able to hold. My customer service ethics differ. Last time I was there for a nail clipping I had to wait into lunch hour for a "technician", again, not the 1st time I waited. They know my appt, & should adequately staffed. I pay them more money (50% more) for nail clipping than it costs to go anywhere else, I would at least expect adequate professional staff and an inkling of customer service.
