The Staff and Veterinarians at The Animal Hospital on the Golden Strip are by the best available in the Williamsport, PA area. Boarding and Grooming also wonderfully convenient.

I dont normally go to this vet but for as an out-of-towner i had no other choice. My dog woke up in the middle of the night crying and when I showed up at the vet the next morning after 6 hours of doggy sickness, the receptionist acted put out because I did not have an appointment. As I explained the situation and agreed to leave her there until the vet had an appointment, her attitude worsened. She was unhelpful with any comfort a toward my animal or myself. I left very upset and had to call at least three times before anyone would let me know if my dog was alright. When I finally talked to the vet she was at least a bit compassionate toward my situation. When I picked up my dog there was a new staff of completely rude and unhelpful women whom offered no comfort and again acted irritated by the very act of helping me. When I saw the vet he insisted that next time I come in I should call ahead for an appointment and was very brief with the explanation of my dog's diagnosis. For anyone looking for a new vet - SEEK ELSEWHERE!!! Do not expect great treatment unless you have been going to them for years.

The entire staff is great. They remember you and your pet's name and are always cheerful. Dr. Winton and Dr. Howie are excellent, compassionate vets who are always straight with you about everything. We moved here five years ago and found this place to be the best.

Good service reasonable prices. I've been going to this vet for years.
