We moved to New Providence about 5 years ago and this was the first vet clinic we tried. Well, it's been five years and we're still going back. The Doctor is frank with you, he will recommend what your dog needs, but always leaves the decisions in your hands. He recognizes that while we love these animals, some of us cannot afford to do every little elective surgery or afford name brand drugs for whatever might be bothering the dog. He's always kind and tries to be as gentle with the pets as possible, while still performing the necessary procedures. My only complaint is that with three dogs and three people in an exam room, it can be a little warm. Other than that, great vet.
Started coming to see Dr. Olson when our regular vet of 25 years retired and our Newfie required professional help. The staff was very courteous, kind and helpful. Their love of animals was very evident. Dr. Olson was very knowledgeable and thorough. Costs were average but we were given options on the levels of care necessary. He offered suggestions but did not push or bully us into something we could not afford. We've since used their boarding services and were very happy with the care our "little" girl received.
