We have been coming here since 1985, almost the time Dr. Courtney Rebensdorf took over. My wife and I have always admired Dr. Courtney's bedside manner, and her concern for each of our beloved pets. We have always felt confident with taking our pets to Oaklawn Animal Hospital, and will continue to do so. They have been very good to us in the last 30 years. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Dr. Rebensdorf always had a very good and personable staff, and that means a lot to us. Plus, we are very pleased with the care our dogs have received. For that, we thank you.

I have been taking my dogs to Oaklawn Animal Hospital for over 20 years and stayed because the vets are very professional, all of them. They are not snobs. The staff are also very kind, professional and helpful at all times. I have never had a bad experience at Oaklawn. They have always gone above and beyond to take care of my dog when she is sick or needs regular tx. I LOVE them, they are the best bar none! I am moving away and will miss them very very much. First off-I think that this office is very used to catering to the western Cranston snobs because I feel that several of the vets, aside from Dr. Mahaney, are very pompous. I think that 80% of what they do is overkill. My dog went in for surgery and I was charged for teeth extractions that were never even taken out (I had to go to another vet). Several times over the years I have had some minor emergencies come up and I was always directed to an animal hospital because they could never fit me in. I feel that they try to make money off their prescriptions…the list goes on and on. This office is all about making money.

I like this office, everyone has always treated me and my canine with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Courtney Rebensdorf has always done an excellent job in taking care of me and my buddy. The only problem is about the cost, about every two or three weeks when i would go in to get his shots, i was always charged $50.00 for an extensive examination. Im not a veterinarian but i dont think much can change in two weeks that would warrant a extensive examination. The only time i avoided the $50.00 Extensive Examination fee was when Dr. Courtney Rebensdorf was not in that day and i saw another doctor who only charged me $25.00 for a regular checkup which is what i should be paying, not $50.00! YEs even though its ONLY 50.00 it does matter. But besides that i find that this practice is a great place and will continue to take my pet there for years to come.
