How do I begin? Doctor Penny decided to double Ace my horse and nearly killed her. I brought one of my bottle fed kittens in and she told me that he was under nourished like it was my fault and then we later found out that he was sick and died of pneumonia. Now when I need to go in and get an OTC worming medication for my cat her stuck up secretary tells me that I need a precription from my vet. News flash, my vet is in Black Hawk and sells the stuff OTC. I merely needed to see if you'd sell it, I am very disappointed in a clinic that is supposed to treat large and small animals. I will not be taking my animals there again.

I and my mother have had a very bad experience with Dakota Hills Veterinary Clinic in November 2012. Our dog Buster died because of their negligence. We boarded our two small dogs with them while we attended my aunts funeral on the east coast. To our horror we get the dreaded phone call. Buster our male was dead. We were told that he somehow got out of the outside run. They coiuldn't find him for a while. When they did find him, they chased him into traffic on highway 44 and was hit by a car! Buster was only 2 years old and was a special sweetheart dog. I was told by Dr. Dye that the insurance company will reimburse us $$ so we could get another dog. Yeah right! I am still dealing with the insurance company and they want to argue about the reimbursement figure! My point is be careful who you give your small pets to to watch. You don't want the phone call we got and have to deal with losing your beloved pet while you are away. You don't want to have to deal with the insurance company on top of that. It adds to the frustration!!
