I'm writing this review so others can know how my pets were treated here. I have two little, I mean really little dogs. First visit: wellness checks(history & allergies reviewed), vaccines(full dose despite my concern), very expensive. My second visit was prompted b/c Dr Heitman refused to call me back or talk on the phone about trying different antihistamines, so instead of a three minute phone call to discuss things, I came to the office for a $80 charge & 5 minutes of time. While there they wanted to give more vaccines to my littlest dog, but I said no due to his bad reaction from the first-I was told I was breaking the law, but I was just protecting him because his allergies were slightly flaring up at that time (more allergies=larger reaction). They will never know why I didn't let them vaccinate him that day, because no one asked, or called, or checked on them; even the vet tech that day didn't inquired about how the vaccines went or if he had a reaction? To top it off the new dosage of antihistamine was double the safe dose for his weight?! With such small dogs these things are crucial. This was not a complex issue, but could have turned into a very critical situation for my pet. When I have to be the one standing up for what is best for my pet in a vet clinic & any advice requires $; its time to find a new place. I even called the manager Susan to try & resolve this issue and the concerns I had with my pets care. She stated she was listening to my concerns, but I only received canned answers; similar to the responses on here. Additionally she was kind of rude, and uncaring about what had happened. I was just trying to make her aware so these things didn't get missed & happen to anyone else's pet. I said it was negligent to not follow up on my dogs vaccines, or ensuring the correct dose was given; she said "you said negligent, does that mean you are going to sue us, if that's so I can't speak with you anymore, that is what I have been told to do". It was then that I realized she had not heard a word I had said. The only reason my pets won't be returning to All City Pet Care South is because their health didn't come first there.

They really don't care about pets here at all. As long as they are getting paid they act like they care, but ask for another inch & you won't receive it (no follow up from previous visits, no vets ever call you back). They were not helpful & actually endangered the health of my fur babies. The manager is aware & never received a response from them; so if I receive one on here it is definitely for show. You couldn't pay me to take my pets back there!

Good. Vets. But. Some times. Rude

Dr Heitman was caring and gentle when he injected the microchip. He took the time to explain everything to us and to look into every symptom that we described. Also, I have never had any trouble getting an appointment quickly like other posters have but yes the prices are little steep. Edit: We brought another very small kitten in to be neutered and microchipped. He was still a little too small for the neutering. Dr. Heitman suggested that we bring him back and have both procedures done at once that way he'll be out when he's microchipped. Very gentle, caring vet.
