THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!I HAVE A 18 YEAR OLD CAT IN KIDNEY FAILURE,WELL MY HUSBAND TOOK HER ON A FRIDAY AT,11 AM AND THEY SAID"YOU HAVE TO HAVE A APP''.,SO THEY MADE ONE FOR 2PM THAT DAY,WELL AT 2 WE WERE INFORMED IF SHE NEEDED A IV THERE WASNT A VET THERE,AND SHE COULDNT STAY ALL NIGHT,AND SHE NEEDED TO BE SEDATED,THEY COULD HAVE TOLD US THIS AT 11 PM,ITS HARD TO GET A VET ON FRI,AFTER 5 YOU CANNOT....SO I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING,YOU COULD NOT PAY ME TO EVER TAKE MY PETS THERE,ILL STICK TO DR.ELLIS HE IS GREAT,KEY CITY WAS CLOSE IS WHY WE RAN THERE!!!

Our cat suffered a injury cut on Wednesday Feb 15, 2012 around 5pm. We called this Vet clinic, which we've been using for 6 years now, to let them know about our cat's situation. They said to bring him in. We drove over, went up to the counter and we were told that they needed to see if they would take him. We immediately were surprised and concern with "take him???". They said to bring him in!!! Next thing, the young lady at the counter, oblivious to common sense, said that they would only exam him and send us over to the emergency clinic. What? Young lady at the counter said that they did allowed a time to bring him in, but it was close to 6pm (5:35pm) and our allowed time had passed. We immediately asked if they accounted for getting in the car and driving here! Young lady; "I'm just telling you what the Vet said". Hello? Did you guys didn't account for drive time? We weren't thinking to call Air Flight to bring the cat over! All in all, no help, no care, and the service of "oh well". The service we received was absolutely poor and inconsiderate. We will never use that place again. We will tell our story to as many folks as we can too.

This is absolutely the best Vet in the entire Abilene area. They are a large and small animal facility with great Vets and great support staff. I would not trust my dogs with anyone else.
