My pet was diagnosed with a completely torn cranial cruciate ligament at a different hospital. I called Morton to see if they would be able to perform the surgery at their hospital and the cost of the procedure. I called 6 different Veterinarians prior to contacting Morton's and they all said that I needed to bring my pet in for a consultation so that they could review her medical records, do the drawer test, and give me an estimate. Dr. Morton actually spoke with me and was very amiable and informative! He spent approximately fifteen minutes discussing the different surgeries to repair the torn ligament (lateral suture vs. TPLO). He actually went into detail about the different surgeries and stated which he believed was the best option for my pet knowing her activity level, weight, age, etc. Dr. Morton even offered sending me more information regarding the different surgeries. He did all of that and my pet does not even go to Morton. That shows great character for both Dr. Morton and Morton Small Animal Clinic. I would love to tell everyone about what a great place this is. One day when me and a friend (previous worker for Stray Dog) were out on a back country road when I saw A very small animal in the road I wasnt sure even what it was but I had to stop. It was a small dog that was in bad shape. We called stray dog to see if they had room unfortunatly they were full. It ripped out my heart to have to leave it but we didnt know what else to do. Tony which is the ex-employee of stray dog I took him home and about 1 hour later he called and told me him and Mellissa another employee of stray dog went picked up the puppy. It just so happend she was right where I had left here 1 hour prior. They called in to the clinic and without hessitation they said bring her in. They nursed her back to health and even adopted her out.This shows they have Big Hearts there at the clinic. Thank You
