I love this place! We have two little pups and this is our vet of choice. When our previous vet recommended we get a teeth cleaning for one of them, the priced it close to $800 or something outrageous because they said they would have to pull some teeth. We then called around to practically every vet in town and found a few we liked for cheaper. We finally called Balcones and they answered all of our questions as we hoped others would have answered and they were among the cheapest for cleanings. And they didn't have to pull any teeth. We now use them for all of our vet appointments.

I have not enough good words towards Dr Jason and James Woods and all their staff. It's been a year and a half with them, and they have always resolt any problem fastly, even when some times they were very busy, they made the spot to help my dog. They are knowledgable, kind and you can see and feel they really love animals and their job. I can only say a HUGE thank you to all of you (Jason, James, Gilberto, John etc) to be always so patient with me, so kind, so nice and for keeping my girl healthy and well cared everytime she has to go. I'm always recomending this place to everybody, they are THE BEST.

I have been using Dr. James and Jason Woods' for 17 years. My first experience with them was when my dog got hit by a car. She was bleeding and we rushed her to the vet. Dr. James Woods felt her over with his hands and checked her out thoroughly. I was willing to pay whatever it cost to save her! No expensive xrays, exams, meds required... I walked away with a pain pill for her and a $50 vet bill! Since then we have moved out to Georgetown and I still make the drive to take all 5 dogs and the cat to The Woods' clinic. It's not a fancy, high dollar place, but you will get the best care, affordable and most wonderful vets around! A+++!

Dr. James and Jason Woods are two of the most competent Vet's we have ever used. We have been going for about 10 years and have never been disappointed. Their prices are also the best I've seen. James has a lot of home remedies that can save you lots. The staff is also great! It my take a week or so to get in for an appointment, but if they really need to be seen just let them know the seriousness and they can usually get them right in.

We take our cat here, and she is a holly terror. They are able to deal with my cat in a kind manor, but still get the work done. We also take our dog here, and he loves coming here (unlike the cat). Kind and quick service. The doc is a straight shooter, pragmatic, but clearly cares deeply.
