Pampered Pet Sitters are awesome. They have cared for our pets for over 10 years. In 2008 while on vacation, one of our dogs had an aneurism and died unexpected. The PPS ladies took care of everything thru our vet, Dr. Wehner, and told us not to come home early. They would not take an extra cent for all their efforts. Yes, a private sitter is more expensive but knowing your pets (family to us) are so cared for and no kennel cough is worth the money.

Called to find out about having my pet looked after for a weekend. I had just picked up their brochure at my vet's office, and thought I would give it a shot even though it was only two days before instead of their requested 5. The woman I spoke with did not seem very friendly, which put me off a little bit about having her watch my precious pup. For them to come out and feed and take him out 2x a day would be $24 and it only costs about $12 at my vet's to board per night. Naturally I expected it to cost more, and figured I could find a friend to let him out the night shift after I flew out on Friday and on Monday morning. They refused to do a "split job" and wouldn't take the job for both shifts on Saturday and Sunday bc they have been "burned in the past". The woman became pretty rude and defensive, so I eventually just hung up. Poor business model and seemed a little greedy to me. Needless to say I will not be recommending or trying their services. They could use a little bit of customer service tact, if you will.
