My dog was vomiting all night and the next morning she developed lumps everywhere (which ended up being hives). I called around to a few places. Booneville Animal Clinic asked me what was wrong then said "yeah you should get her to the vet as soon as possible but we don't have any appointments, thanks for calling." Then hung up on me. I called Bryan Animal Clinic and they got her in RIGHT away. There was just one sheet of paperwork to fill out. In addition, I forgot to bring her medical records with me since I was so frazzled and they said they would still see her since it was clearly an emergency and just asked me to email my records to them later. Although the facility is small the best way I can describe it is that small home town feel. Where everyone knows everyone and cares a lot about their well being. There were 3 other employees and the doctor there and every single one of them stopped by the room (even the front desk clerk who just came to say high and give my dog attention, which she loves). They asked me a million questions trying to get to what could be the cause which was determined to be an allergic reaction to some kind of sting or bite. She prescribed cortizone and benadryl and clearly explained the dosages and when to administer them. The staff was extremely friendly and i didn't have that experience where you sit alone with your dog in the room just waiting. There was always someone in there, we exchanged stories and laughed. It was reasonably priced and as wonderful an experience as you can have when your dog is sick. Oh and she even clipped my dog's toenails for me too for free.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's nice getting to know the people that are there to help you and your companion. The paperwork is easy, the charges are reasonable and they'll try and help out how they can with any pet insurance information, coupons and the like. Dr. Wheeler is knowledgeable and friendly, and will tell you anything you're doing right or wrong, and what she recommends. She's well experienced in taking care of cats and dogs, and will readily refer you to a specialist if she doesn't feel she is the right person to take care of any specific treatment. She keeps her work area clean, and I've never had an unusually long wait for any appointment I've had. I recommend her practice whole-heartedly.

I like Dr. Wheeler, she is very intelligent and knows a lot about pet dental care. As a vet tech I shopped around for a vet that understood the new techniques and Dr. Wheeler was perfect.

This is by far the best clinic in town! The staff is great & the veterinarian is very knowledgeable! I would recommend this clinic to everyone I know!
