I got home from work one night and my horse was colicing really bad. He had cuts and scrapes all over him and had a hard time keeping him standing. I called Burleson Equine Hospital and they met me at the clinic immediately. Dr. Jordan was there and ready when I got there and their Surgon Dr. Armentrout was there within minutes of me showing up. They got my horse prepped and on the surgery table in no time. They were all amazing and very sensitive during this horrible time. His surgery and recovery were perfect. We continue to go to Barrel Races and I will continue to use Burleson Equine. Their Vets and Techs know what they are doing and I appreciate everything they have done. I couldn't ask for a better team behind my horse and I.

I met the Burleson Equine Staff when my horse became very sick a year ago and ever since then I have loved them! The doctors are very intelligent and answered all of my questions. The technicians are very nice and knowledgeable, and took very good care of my horse while he stayed in the hospital and even cleaned him up before he came home! Since then I have had to call them on an emergency for the same horse when he coliced and they did not hesitate to come out even though it was 1 in the morning. I would not trust my horses to anyone else except to the doctors and staff at Burleson Equine Hospital.

Had a horrible experience. Vets and Techs do NOT know what they are doing. Actually injured our pony while she was there because they didn't know how to handle her situation. Hoping the other horse on the review actually needed to be put down and that they KNEW what the reason was and not just a pat answer for a diagnosis that they didn't know. Took our horse home against "their" better recommendation and nursed her back to health from our 35 plus yrs of experience. Won't even use them for general maintenance. They are riding on Dr. Putnam's good name. BE AWARE!

We had a really distressing situation with our horse and they were able to come out right away and put him down. We were just so upset that we had not realized the seriousness of his health problems that the fact that they were so available to come out and ease him out of his misery was so comforting to us. They also had so much good information and advice for us. We will forever be grateful for their services.
