I love Premier Animal Hospital! Every time I call with a question, concern for my dog or to make an appointment I am greeted by someone friendly and helpful on the phone. I have gone into the clinic for appointments and am always impressed with how clean the office is. It's understandable that pets will come in and make a mess - but you'd never know it with how tidy everything is. Every staff member I have interacted with has been very knowledgeable and great with my pets. Dr. Whitehill has been so good with our dogs and makes you feel comfortable asking questions I was scared to have my dog neutered but Dr. Miller and his tech assured me they would contact me once everything was done and would be happy to take any calls with concerns or just questions I had. This put my mind at ease! I can't recommend this office enough - we have even used the day spa for grooming. We are a household that treats our dogs like kids - and I know they are getting the best care here.
Updated review -------------------------------- I was contacted by Dr. Daigle, the owner, after leaving a negative review on Yelp. Twice. Both times via voicemail. The first one was yesterday. It was mostly polite and he asked to talk. However, in today's voicemail Dr. Daigle threatened my wife and me by saying this is defamation of character. Unfortunately for Dr. Daigle, it's only defamation if it's false and everything written in my original review is 100% true. I had originally given Premier 2 stars, but receiving a threatening voicemail from the owner has pushed that down to 1 star. Original review -------------------------------- When my wife and I moved to Austin, we took our dog to Premier once. It was a good experience, but we looked at other options and ended going to Lakeline Animal Care. Lakeline was great, but we moved close to Premier so we decided to try them again. I dropped our dog off for an annual exam and teeth cleaning. I brought them the paperwork from Lakeline so they'd know what was already done. The tech I spoke to looked at the paperwork and said that the only vaccine my dog would need is bordetella. OK. I then asked to speak with a vet when we picked up our dog. The tech wrote that down, which I really appreciated. So far, so good. My wife picked up our dog and asked to speak with a vet. The woman at the front desk responded with, "um, no." Then, after my wife asked, the lady said that they didn't do an annual exam because our dog didn't need it. Couldn't have the tech or somebody tell me that when I dropped her off? Or couldn't someone call us to tell us that? What's funny is that we received a notice in the mail today from Lakeline that our dog is due for an annual exam. Good, because that's where we'll be going again from now on. One more thing...I knew Premier had pretty good reviews on Yelp so I read them again to see what I was missing. The first thing I read was how Premier had told another person to wait on teeth cleaning because they were having a special in February. We weren't told that AND we didn't even get the annual exam that we wanted.
Highly recommend! I have been a client of Premier for 9 years and am always impressed with the level of service I receive. Exceptional service is not just a great veterinarian (which Premier has in spades). The front office staff can really make or break a client's experience. Premier's front desk staff are very clear about the planned procedures scheduled for my dog AND the anticipated charges. No sticker shock! That is not always the case with previous vets I have used. After my pet is treated, the attending doctor will personally call to update me. Then the staff follows up with a call the next day to check on the "kid". It is a good experience from start to finish. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Daigle and Premier Animal Hospital!
Staff was very friendly, and Doc was very thorough and spent a lot of time with us.
Definitely keeping Dr Raybon as our vet. Very nice, understanding, informative, and had patience with us and our puppy. The staff is totally on the ball and very professional and helpful. Just more expensive than I'm used to.
