Valarie and her staff truly care about animals. I have been to several vets in the past who spent 15 minutes with me, subjected my pet to every possible test, and passed on the cost of financing expensive machinery to me. That is NOT what you will find with Valarie and her staff. When my senior dog was not feeling well, i set up an apointment expecting a quick check up. Valarie and Bobbi spent over 3 hours with my dog and I, gave us her undivided attention, and gave me honest feedback. I was shocked at how reasonable the bill was. When my dog passed on, she treated both my dog and I with diginity and respect. I was not expecting a heartfelt sympathy card 2 days later, but that's what I received with kind words from her entire staff. I highly reccomend Valarie, she has a level of caring and passion that is rare.

The Vet was very kind and obviously new how to work with animals. I appreciated her candor about pets' needs and compassion for the animals. The prices seemed very fair, less than our previous veterinarian. We'll be going back for our next exams.

The staff at Animal Medical Center are all really friendly and knowledgeable, and anything they happen not to know they research and learn! They're really dedicated to your pets' well-being, and make you feel very welcome and familiar. I made the mistake of taking one of my pets to another vet once and had to wait almost an hour to see the vet for 5 minutes, and I didn't even catch her name. I took another pet to see Dr. Barker right after that and the staff greeted me right away, and already knew my pet's name! I've taken my rats and my cat here, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Animal Medical Center is by far the best vet in town. I would highly recommend Dr. Barker and Staff to anyone.
