I've been very happy with Dr. Valenciano and the staff at Companion. He takes a lot of time with my aging dog. He very carefully takes note of my dog's symptoms and quirks and has yet to steer us wrong. He's exceptionally kind and very knowledgeable. As we approached the end of my dog's life, Valenciano and an assistant came to our house to put him down. (We changed our minds that day; they were completely understanding.) Their cat care is equally good. The former vet, who he purchased this practice from about six years ago, did not take my aging cat's health very seriously. I'm sure this man had seen countless cats come and go in his career. But Valenciano did what he could and helped extend my cat's life for many years. He and the staff were very kind when it was time to put her to sleep. I've been very happy with Companion Animal Hospital. I recommend them without hesitation.

If you're looking for a vet that you can trust your pet with, do not go here. I just spent several months taking my cat here to be told she is fine. Last night she died in my arms on the way to the emergency vet clinic. She was a little over a year old and in perfect health. I spent nearly $500 being told each time she was healthy. I watched a perfectly healthy and wonderful little girl get sicker and sicker over a 3 month period; all the while trusting what my vet was saying. I kept telling myself she was going to get better. I'm just disgusted.

I have a hedgehog who recently began bleeding in her poo. Very few vets have ever handled hedgehogs before as they're not a common pet and are considered "exotic". A friend recommended them to me and they did an AMAZING job. The main vet knew what he was talking about, was very very gentle with my skidish little pet and knew exactly what to do so she's now on her way to getting better. I highly recommend this vet if you have small exotic animals.

Love this vet and his staff! He knows how to handle my two little nervous dogs. He is very thorough and takes time to check them from nose to tail regardless of what their symptoms are. He is smart, knowledgeable and kind. He has helped them get well and helped me keep them well!

The staff and the doctor are always willing to work me in when I have an immediate need, and are very kind, warm, and gentle with my 4 crazy animals. Pricing is very good, I think, and I love that they are almost within walking distance of my house. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
