Dr. Moynagh has been our vet for 8 or more years. I had been taking my cat to another vet; after an appointment where she became extremely agitated and tried to bite and claw everyone in sight, I apologized and he said it would probably only get worse from year to year. The next year, we started seeing Dr. Moynagh and Miss Nosey was quiet, docile and sweet...I think she only hissed at him briefly at shot time on just one or two of eight appointments. He was so good with her. This year, she was losing weight and Dr. Moynagh diagnosed her with a hyperactive thyroid. I appreciated that he was very honest about treatment options and about her prognosis. He never said anything that would upset me, yet he led me to know that we were at the beginning of the end. He had me bring her back for a weigh-in after a couple of months of treatment and she was still losing weight. Again, we reviewed options and he let me decide what I needed to do next. After a couple weeks and more weight loss, I had decided it was time to let Miss Nosey go. He and his staff were amazing with helping me through the decisions connected with that, and they were so gentle and kind to her in her final hour. I highly recommend Dr. Mark as a vet. He is caring, he is kind, and he is very knowledgeable. His staff is also very caring ad kind. You cannot go wrong here.

We switched to Dr. Moynagh's office after we felt that Denton Vet Hospital was ripping us off and pushing prescriptions that our two cats did not need. Our last straw was when the vet at Denton Vet Hospital saw a black speck on his exam table and told us our cat had fleas, when we knew she didn't, and tried to force us to get a prescription for flea treatment. The very next week, we switched to Dr. Moynagh's office. The first time Dr. Moynagh saw the same cat, he did a thorough inspection of our cat under a black light and agreed our Sadie didn't have flees. AND he had a clean exam table too. I have never seen anyone be so thorough! The place is clean and sanitary. The staff are friendly and experienced and treat our pets with compassion and care. When we brought our cats in out of concern and they were able to help us without tests or treatments, they didn't charge us for the visits. We have been with them for 4 years now and are sad to move out of town and find another vet.
