You know you've walk into the right place the moment you arrive. I'd never boarded my Candy, as she's always traveled with me. However, on a recent short trip to NYC, I decided to fly and had to board my girl for a few days. Parkwood had been highly recommended by both Banfield and Petsmart, but there was still that queasy feeling when I arrived, you know the type you get when you drop off your child for the first time at daycare or kinder garden. However, the folks at Parkwood took to Candy right way and she to them, you'd think she was the only one being attended to. All the folks at Parkwood are professional, caring and attentive to all your and your pet’s needs. How do I know Candy had a good experience? As we left the facility she kept looking over her shoulder, as if to say, "Hey, why are we leaving?" It was a wonderful experience and if you're looking for a caring staff, excellent care and a safe place to board your four legged love ones, Parkwood is who you should consider as a home away from home for your fury companions.

Everyone is very friendly and I've never felt like they were in a hurry to get me out of the door. They talk with you until you're comfortable. They diagnosed one of my cats with something that made perfect sense, in one minute flat, that half a dozen vets missed in his lifetime just by feeling his leg. One day I had to make a decision to put a kitten to sleep that I had become very fond of over several months and I was an absolute wreck. Not only did the assistant come talk with me because I was there alone, and cheered me up as much as she could as I held him, but they also put the money spent on the visit toward a university program to help fund medical care for pets for people who can't afford it. The condolence card was nice, the compassion they showed was better, but the donation makes me feel they care more than anyone I've ever been with. A+

Dr. Clark and Dr. Stehouwer have always been my favorite Vets. They treat you and your furry family as if they were their only patients. They always find time to spend with you and listen to what you have to say. They both will always be my faves.

Dr Stehouwer & Dr Clark really care about my pets. They cheer with us when a pet get well, but they have also cried with us when we had to euthanize them as well. The staff are professional and friendly.

Every staff member caters to your pets every need. (They pay special attention to you too).
