I took Cali, my 9 month old pitbull, in with what I thought was an obstruction from a hanger she ate. After running all the appropriate tests it turned out not to be an obstruction but far worse than I could have ever thought. My poor baby had Parvo. We immediately admitted her into their hospital and Pet vet did everything they could possibly do. They were all so polite and very helpful. Naturally, being the worried momma I am, I called multiple time a day to check on her and they also called me with updates. I was also allowed to go visit her. After an agonizing 6 day stay in the facilities and many ups and downs we were able to bring Cali home!!! No one was sure that she was going to make it but Pet vet helped my baby make a full recovery!!! Thank you so much for all of your loving employees and dedication to the lives of our fur babies!!

I took my pet to see the new vet(Fay) here since the old vet (Keonig) is no longer there and I really thought he just there waiting to retire and I never felt he really cared about the well-being of my pet. I decided to give PetVet another chance because my vet was closed for the day on the day my pet got sick. After 3 visits here this is what I experienced. The vet charged me for a nearly $100 antibiotic when he could just as easily given me prescription for the same antibiotic available for pets at Target and Kroger for $4! The vet hires and lets students in vet tech school “practice on animals” while under no direct supervision. My ill and weak pet was subjected to two blood withdrawals because the vet tech student didn’t know who to use the blood work machine. My pet was subjected to multiple urine tests and I never even received a call from them with the results and that was my initial reason for the visit. After my pet got worse I had to ask the vet if I should stop with the antibiotic. His response was “I would”. The vet charged me for x-rays even though he had no idea how read one with any accuracy and then just referred us to a specialist. This is not a vet that cares for animals this place is all about making money. My pet had cancer and I highly doubt she needed the antibiotic to begin with. I wish I could sue.

My wife and I are new to Houston so when we arrived the 1st thing I did was look for a Vet. I liked the look of PetVet and the staff and we started taking our 3 dogs there. Since then we have only had routine visits except for when my Dog Ethos was Neutered. Thed did an excelent job on him and his recovery was extremely quick. I was very nervous about the whole idea of my dog being casterated but it went great. (My opinion not Ethos's) As for the students working there, That is great. I love their energy and caring deminor and I love to see young people get a chance to better them selves. Paige, even a doctor with years of experience isn't flawless. We do the best we can and we hope for the best. I sold on this clinic and will continue to take Lucy, Lady, and Ethos there when ever they need a good vet.

My cat had hepatic lipidosis and I had to feed him via a feeding tube.(He was first seen at TX A and M) His case was quite a complicated one and every two or three days I was seeing the vets at Pet Vet. I especially liked Dr. Koenig. The care that my cat, Magic received was phenomenal! I will always be indebted to Dr. Koenig for his kind and expert care. It is usually quite easy to schedule appointments a fact that is quite important in my hectic life. Overall, if you are in Friendswood/S Houston/Clearlake etc this is the place to take your pets.

Great service and great prices! They will not charge you for a visit if it is routine! Other doctors have robbed me in this sector by charging 50 + on routine visits. Very friendly too!
