I used to enjoy taking my dog to this clinic as it is pretty low priced for the exam. However, my last few experiences have made me find a new vet in town. If you plan on purchasing meds from another place, might as well get your exam elsewhere to save yourself the trouble. They will not fax prescriptions to you or to another retailer. I recently placed an order for Heartgard with another retailer, who contacted Pet Care Express for the prescription. They faxed back a response saying that I was not a valid customer. My schedule is very busy and I managed to find a time to barely sneak in to see if I could just buy the meds from them. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock and I was going out of town the next day, but they were more than happy to sell it to me if they had them in stock. Even though I was "not a valid customer". I called them later to ask them to fax a prescription to the retailer, and they said that they cannot because they are too busy and that I need to come in and pick it up and mail it myself. I'm thinking "they're too busy to fax a prescription to the retailer, but not too busy to fax them a response saying that I am not a valid customer"??? This place is getting shadier each year.

I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO THE VERY NICE VET LADY AT PET CARE EXPRESS AS SHE WAS PUTTING PRICE TO SLEEP SHE WAS TALKING TO HIM AND TELLING HIM THAT HIS MOMMY AND DADDY WERE RIGHT THERE AND THAT THEY LOVE HIM SO MUCH AFTER SHE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE HE WAS GONE,SHE PUT HER HANDS ON HIS HEAD AND CHEST AND SAID A SILENT PRAYER FOR HIM,TO US THAT WAS THE SWEETEST THING SHE COULD HAVE DONE AND DID NOT TRY TO RUSH OUT OF THE ROOM JUST CAUSE THEY WERE OTHER ANIMALS WAITING TO BEEN SEEN,SHE TOLD US TO TALK ALL THE TIME WE NEEDED,THANK YOU TO ALL THE WONDERFUL STAFF AT PET CARE EXPRESS FOR BEING SO NICE AND CARING.

Prices are great and they are willing to treat your pet as you prefer. Great vet.

Very friendly and warm-hearted staff! I travelled with my cat to Singapore and they prepared the health certificate for me. It was a special and complicated form required by the Singapore government, but the staff were very patient and they helped me get it done. They were also very kind and patient when answering my questions on the phone. What else can I say? My cat and I owe a big THANK YOU to them.

I drive from Spring, TX to go to this clinic! People are friendly, especially the Vet techs and the Vet! The prices are amazing! The only place I know of in Houston that will give such great service and love to each animal with unbelievable low prices. I will continue to go to Pet Care Express forever and every.....LOL All I can say is THANK YOU!
