Have been bringing our animals threre for more than 12 years now. Never had bad service. The techs and reception staff are polite and knowledgeable. Wait times in the lobby - with an appointment - are usually less than 10min. The vets - whether Dr. Buckley, Dr. Jones, Dr. Smonko, or any of the new or former veterinarians there - have all been attentive, caring, and my favorite - practical. Never had my bill padded or racked with unnecessary expenses. No one has ever tried to talk us into expensive procedures or meds that have no better outcome than less costly treatment options. They've even written some of our more common scrips in human drug names so we could fill them at a pharmacy of our choosing. We have had two of our pets there for their "final" visit, as well, and they were more understanding and compassionate than anyone could ask for - allowing us as much time as we needed to say goodbye, giving our pets' final moments all the dignity they deserved. Even sent flowers and/or a card after the fact. In short, you're not just a client number or a wallet with legs here. You're a real person, and that's why we keep going back.

We have been getting care for our dogs at Killeen Vet clinic for 13 years now. They have great hours, do everything we need- surgery, specialty food, dietary counseling, and boarding, and they are friendly and top notch in care.

Dr. Buckley was outstanding!!! He took the time to explain all the information so that I had a clear understanding. Very professional and friendly!

I have used KVC for years. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat currently. However, we used to have 4 dogs and 2 cats. KVC has always made time for a vet visit if I needed the normal yearly visit or an emergency visit when my dog "Thor" decided he wanted to test his superhuman powers with a Mini Cooper car. Everyone is kind and patience. I love the fact that you can always get an appointment without having to wait forever. Also they board animals so it is convenient when you want to go out of town or the 4th of July with all the fireworks. I really enjoy using Killeen Vet Clinic for my 4-legged family members.

I have been seeing Dr. Buckley for my 9.5 year old Akita's difficult autoimmune conditions for about a year now. He listens and is extremely receptive and helpful, despite being obviously very busy. Even though I am now in Austin, I will continue to take her to see him because he provides excellent care and at her age, I do not want to risk another vet trying to change her current protocol. Dr. Buckley is willing to consider all treatment options, and is very good at explaining why he chooses the route he does. Although I do not have the benefit of a medical degree, I do what I can to learn about my dogs, and appreciate that he does not dismiss any questions or concerns I raise but instead works with me so that I am an even more informed owner. Just as an FYI for large dog owners, the exam rooms are a bit small and cramped, just so you are aware.
