In addition to the quality care and treament of my pet, Mitsy, their prices on pet supplies are cheaper then you can find at pet stores like Petsmart.

I loved Safari the very first time I walked in with one of my Parrots. I bring all my pets there now and recommended it to my Daughter and she has also appreciated the professional and friendly service and care. I found out this week that the parrot food is the highest standard and purchased a wonderful basket of 'goodies' for my African Grey's. I look forward to my visits. I think everyone should go see it for themselves.

In addition to my pet’s annual vaccinations and preventative care measures, Safari has my entire pet’s needs with their grooming services, pet supplies and boarding facility. They are one of the only locations in South Texas with the training, credentials and experience to provide the most reliable veterinary care for exotic pets. Dr. Garner treated my turtle Lucy, and educated my family in preventative care techniques for a healthy pet. I loved the waiting room experience, as it offered a very calm and relaxing environment and there are numerous resources and literature on pet services and care. Their staff is a knowledgeable team of dedicated professionals who understand that animals do more than just look cute and cuddly, they’re loving family members. D. H

We have recently had a very wonderful experience at Safari - made out of a not so fortunate situation with our 1 year old puppy who came down with parvovirus. In panic mode at an early hour, I was able to get in contact with Safari's emergency vet clinic to assist me with the transfer/boarding from another overnight emergency specialist clinic. She was very nice and understanding of the urgency of my situation and told me to bring my puppy to them right away. Upon arrival, we were greeted with smiles and that heart-warming feeling everyone wants to feel when taking their animal to the vet. After speaking with office personnel for check-in, we were then introduced to Lori, a wonderful, caring, vet technician whom was very knowledgeable with the treatment and process for bringing our pup back to good health from this nasty virus. Our puppy stayed with Safari for 4 days and we received phone calls (morning and afternoon) with updates and progress. We were also encouraged to stop by and visit him anytime during business hours to check up on our little guy. Mid-day on his fourth day of stay we were notified we would be able to pick him up to take home and that his parvo test came back negative!! Bathed, groomed, and full of energy, we picked him up that afternoon! It was beyond relief to receive such great news, so quickly (knowing how extensive the process can be). I just want to give a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Safari Animal Care Center, especially Lori and Dr.Garner for the great care and service you have provided to us and our four-legged kid. We truly appreciate all you have done for us!
