Couldn't be happier w/ this Vet! After years of DRaGging our 2 mixed-labs to Southwood & coping w/ them freaking out in the waiting room & having anxiety attacks EVERY time, we finally tried this new vet much closer to our home. The FIRST time we went, was actually an emergency after a dog we rescued from the pound in the middle of the weekday (Lufkin pound wouldn't hold her an hour longer) clashed w/ our new pet (walking/bonding helped tremendously & never had another clash, FYI) ... we took our freaked out, maimed animals to Dr. Schilling. Neither he nor his staff cast judgment on us or our mid-size large dogs. They expressed true concern about each of our dogs' welfare. Neither dog has ever expressed anxiety about going back here for treatment, either — and THAT says A LOT. We love you & your staff, Dr. Shilling!
