We moved to McKinney 1.5 yrs ago. I called around all the vets in town and they have the lowest cost for an office visit along with great reviews. That was the reason we went to them. I am so glad we found them to keep my dog healthy. I recommended all my friends and neighbors to go to them. It is not a fancy place but they get the job done.
They did a fabulous job on my digs teeth she had to get quite a few pulled and the rest cleaned. I have been to alot of vets and this one is a keeper.
My dog tore his cruciate ligament. He could no longer use the leg at all, and he could no longer jump. The doctor tried a more conservative approach first, in case it wasn't completely torn. But when we did have to accept that it did need surgery, he told us of two alternatives, and recommended the cheaper repair because our dog was small enough for the cheaper repair to work. His treatment and recovery went exactly as the doctor said. Our dog is running and jumping on all four legs again. The doctor was very considerate of our budget, while at the same time weighing this against what was best for our dog. We are grateful and strongly recommend this clinic. Everyone there is wonderful. They care so much about what they do.
Our family has been using King Veterinary for 5 years now. A friend told us about them when we moved to McKinney. They helped us care for several very old and much loved dogs including one with terminal cancer. They were kind and compassionate in every way. They also have taken care of our new dog for several years now. When I brought him in the first time, the vet took her time to give advice and educate us about our breed. Our new dog loves to be boarded there. When he comes home, he has clearly been well cared for. I have owned dogs for forty years. I can tell when an animal is happy or sad. My dogs come out of that place happy. I can tell they have been socialized and spent time with someone who cares.
They know their stuff. They're calm and confident with my dog, even when I freak out over every little thing. My dog has some type of respiratory ailment that pops up every so often. So of course I google and know he has kennel cough or heartworm or whatever could be terrible. The vet reassured me, gave him medicine. I knew it has to be something terrible, so I went to another vet for a second opinion. After many tests and even more money, he was right. He has always treated my dog well. He's not ooey gooey, but he is wonderful with my dog. Many of my neighbors use him and love him, too.
