I have always taken my dog here and have had good experience, however this past visit with our newly adopted puppy was terrible & almost cost our puppy her LIFE! We adopted a puppy from the pound and of course she was in bad condition and only 6 weeks old, so we scheduled a check up right away. She was given all vaccines at the pound including a vaccine for Parvo. After a few days of having the puppy she was showing signs of Parvo, very sick, vomiting, and acting very lethargic. Once we got to the clinic, the nurse called us in, we told her that she had been given ALL vaccines only about 5 days prior from the pound we also had ALL paperwork from the pound that stated this. The female doctor came in, tested the puppy and the results came back positive for Parvo. We were devastated, she told us that we could call the pound, take her back and "exchange" her for a new puppy (SHOCKED by how insensitive she was). We took the puppy home and by THAT SAME NIGHT she was able to keep food down, and playing like a healthy puppy should - she's been fine ever since! Clearly there was a miss communication with the nurse that took us back, seems she didn't tell the doctor that the puppy was just vaccinated (which would cause a false positive). And even so, it is the DOCTORS responsibility to double check those vital pieces of information! It has been a couple months since that visit and today our puppy is very healthy! Typically I do not write reviews, but I wanted people to be aware of this terrible situation! Our pets are our children and we want them to have the best care and attention! This carelessness could have cost our puppy her life, I'm so glad we got a second opinion from a much more experienced vet! My dogs will NOT be returning to this clinic, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

EXTREMELY PLEASED! they go above & beyond providing excellent, loving care. i've needed several quick appointments & they get me right in. i have never been treated so warmly at any other vet. Dr. Romero talks, explains everything until i have no more questions...like my pet is the only one important. the entire staff is professional & caring. we have 6 pets & we will never go anywhere else now! we've been there for 2 years.

We have used this vet for different things over the years. At the end of the day, they are more concerned about making money then anything else. Every time they want BS tests and they charge 200% mark up for meds. I have no problem with a company making money, but they need to be competitive. Because of this, I will take my business elsewhere.

Dr. Romero and his staff have taken care of our pets for 6 years. We could not ask for a more professional and compassionate group! They have taken care of our cherished pets during times of health concerns, behavior concerns and every other concern you can think of. The care of our pets has been exceptional - This includes home visits when you have a truly special friend!

I have been a client of this practice for almost ten years. Dr. Romero and his staff have gone above and beyond for my animals time after time. I've had several special needs animals over the years, and some of their conditions were weird enough to require research. Dr. Romero has taken the time to investigate alternative treatments, to research the best medication options, and to address every possible way to improve their quality of life. He also is willing to spend as much time as necessary explaining your pet's condition, prognosis, and treatment options. Given that I have high maintenance pets, I am very very grateful to have this clinic. The staff is excellent, and the facilities are state of the art. The vets are knowledgeable, informative, and compassionate. I refer everyone I know to this clinic.
