Dr. Doody is a hard-working, caring, and knowledgeable veterinarian. He has helped me out so many times, and I am very grateful. You can't go wrong here!

Wonderful! Visit was all about my pet! Didn't feel rushed and even got samples. It was our first visit in a new town and I'm completely at ease about my 7 year old Labrador ' s new doctor.

I use to live in New Braunfels and started seeing Dr Grantham 18 yrs ago..way back when it was only Dr Grantham,Karen and a couple other Vet techs. Those were the "Good 'ol Days" for my pet's and my self. I can not tell you how much Dr Grantham has done for my pets and for the care of them. I love Dr Grantham and his way with our animals and how he takes the time to really explain everything to us. He has gone above and beyond many times for them. Now, years later and addition of other vet's and staff, we can never get an appointment when our dogs really need to come in. I just got off the phone with someone and told them I think my dog may have mange and needs to be seen by Dr Grantham as soon as possible to be checked. I know from experience with a previous Dog that it only takes a few minutes to scrape and put under a microscope to see if mites are present. The lady said right away I could not get an appointment for 2 weeks. I said cant you squeeze my dog in this Saturday with Dr G? She said no we are full. Mind you it only takes minutes to do the test! Anyway, this seems to be the pattern there over the past 4 yrs but I kept on thinking just being able to see Dr G was worth all the hassle and "begging" to be seen to the office staff which most of them are very unprofessional and rude. My husband and I have decided to succumb to finding a vet closer to Austin and will be ever so grateful to Dr Grantham and Karen for all their care over the years and hope and pray they make some changes with the front desk staff and considerations for any emergency type problems such as possible mange to be seen as quickly as possible.

I always get a busy signal when I call to make an appointment. The vet services are fine.

We moved to New Braunfels recently and have chosen the New Braunfels Veterinarian Clinic for our dogs health care. We have been extremely pleased. Dr. Doody treated our dogs he was thorough and kind. The staff are polite and caring as well. The fees are very fair. I appreciated that we were seen at the time we were appointed. I do not expect the Dr. to make small talk when he is obviously busy, and trying to care for as many sick animals as possible. I only expect the Dr to address the problem that I made the appointment for. The fact that you can drop by to get your dogs their shots without an appointment is a wonderful service, and to be charged ONLY for that shot is proof to me that the clinics first concern is for the animals NOT money! They are helping so many people who probably wouldn't get their animals immunized otherwise. Thank you New Braunfels Animal Clinic :-)
