I take my 3 dogs there. Laura is the Doc in charge of them, but all the stuff there has been just awesome. If you are a dog lover, you will understand this. When I take my dogs into this Clinic even after they ave been Spaded there and taken blood they are still happy to go in. My previous Vet they recognized the place right away and didn't wanted to get in. And for all minor things like vaccination. We rescued a little Chiwawa with Heart-worms, and thanks to Laura and the stuff in this place we have him alive and very very well today. We Spaded my Princess there, and took the Blood samples and had her with some optional just to be safe with anesthesia All has been just wonderful, even though is farther from home we prefer to drive longer but be sure and safe that our babies are taken care of with all this people. If you love your pet, this is a great place to take them to keep them healthy.

This clinic has been taking excellent care of my cats and dog for over 20 years. They are friendly, efficient, and the facilities are always clean. The med techs and staff are also well trained and very kind. They spent extra time teaching my husband and me to hydrate our cat at home to save expense and time.

The Veterinarian at this medical center only cared about the money. Dr. Shuttlesworth suggested useless tests and procedures for my dog, Peaches. We assumed this place would be great for small dogs, but I assure you they will take advantage of you & over charge you. We came in to get my dog spayed but by the end of the weekend we had spent over $400, & nothing had been proven or taken care of. By then the vet was still suggesting sending my dog to more clinics for more tests. Just to get her blood pressure checked they charged $25. When asked about the documents concerning my dogs records and lists of procedures, someone had gone through and marked off optional tests that didn't need to be run. I did not approve of any of them, nor did I hear from Dr. Shuttlesworth that they would be needed. They went behind my back & tried to charge me for things I never asked for. Also, the vet told me my dog had dangerous levels of creatinine & that it needed attention. They scheduled me for a sonogram, costing $175. After getting home & doing research for myself I find out that her levels were slightly over average, a problem that can be fixed with a simple low protein diet, & no tests were necessary. They avoided showing me her tests results. They tried to scare me into paying for unnecessary procedures. My dog is still not spayed, & there is no chance that I am EVER sending my dog back to the Animal Medical Center of Richardson. Dr. Shuttlesworth lied to me, & it is clearly evident that she only cares about money.
