Dr. Amy Toth is a treat! She knows what she is doing and adores animals. She took great care of our kitten, Rosey. The support staff are friendly and take care of business quickly. The office is clean, well organized, and up to date. All of the staff seem to work great as a team and I felt our kitten had excellent care. I would definitely recommend this clinic and their Wellness Plans.
Where should I start, we have been in an out of the vet for the last week due to allergy issues. After the 2nd day I finally demanded they do an allergy test. The vet we currently see has been great in helping trying to figure out whats going on BUT, she comes across very hateful if you don't do word for word exactly what she wants u to do. The last Banfield we went to I had 2 different vets that were not pushy and VERY understanding. For some reason this lady has issues. We have been doing everything in our power including medications to make our baby better and it just seems like she is trying to get every dead gum penny out of us possible. She wants us to put him on an 80.00 food imm which I explained, we r just like any other family out there and it will need to wait a week. Oh boy the look at got from this woman was so rude and her tone changed completely. The way I see it is, if your going to be ANY kind of doctor you need to be understanding and be nice. I'm giving her one more chance and then if she is still at it I will be taking our baby somewhere else. Like I said we have done EVERYTHING possible including demanded test that THEY never even mentioned or considered. DEF if you decide to go here DO NOT use Boon especially if you a budget.
Our puppy was fine until he got a set of vaccines from Banfield. They gave him a vaccine for Corona Virus which is not recommended by the Association of Animal Hospitals of America (AAHA). He then became violently ill and had us order many tests that showed no cause, but concluded liver and kidney failure. We had them hospitalize him with IV and meds for 4 days and spent over $1000. Another veterinarian looked over his medical records and suggested they should have first done an ultrasound to see if he had 2 functioning kidneys. The Banfield doctor is AWFUL. If you ask questions or mention a second opinion he gets mad and tells you to go somewhere else, then will make the suggestions you made the following day. Our puppy did not make it due to Banfield's negligence.
They say that sick dogs get seen first, I say there for thirty minutes covered in dog puke waiting for them to look at my sick puppy. And dog after dog is still seen before mine.
They will continuously raise rates on you and give you a hassle about canceling AFTER your pet has died. DO NOT sign up for the Optimum Wellness Plan, it is there to suck money from you and nothing more
