Bad experience! !!! Spent 40 dollars on a trip for the vet to tell me wht I told her about my puppy. No diagnosis. An said an x-ray might help but not sure. I do not recommend to anyone.

One of the worst experiences I have EVER had with a Vet. I went because my puppy was feeling sick , wasn't eating, & was lethargic. She used a rectal thermometer and did not use a cover. She said there was some feces on this hair close to his rectum but never bothered to get a cloth & clean his bottom, instead she played with the thermometer & moved it away and then stuck the puppy. I was seething but held my tongue and said nothing. I could not wait to get out of there. She wanted to pad the bill by running tests but after I saw how horrible her manner was and how clinically unsafe and unhealthy her actions were, I left with 1 Rx.. I have never met a more rude, arrogant, disinterested, disagreeable, unsanitary pet doctor in my life. The rest of the staff was nice.

This is for Dr becker not the new Brandos vet that is there now.I recently took the pet in for treatment for an injury. The treatment was sufficient but every time I called to check on the status it seemed they never knew which pet I was talking about. Also when we told him that we may not be able to afford more services for treatment he gave us this look as if we were just scum of the earth. Just another smart guy that doesn't have any people skills and can be condescending. This particular vet also has a very high volume of pets that come through the door but Dr. Becker does not have enough people working there to handle the business. I felt like I was calling a shady mechanic that always gives the run around. This isnt the first time I had a bad experience. We also took the pet in for basic services and we were charged for a treatment that was never authorized. In my opinion I think he needs morre funds for his new hospital. I can't imagine taking my pet to a new facility with that staff. If they can't keep track of pets in the small clinic I couldn't imagine the service in a huge clinic.

Where to start...? When I went to pick up my dog from boarding I had to wait for 30 minutes because the doctor planned to do a "wellness consult" with me about my puppy. I was led to the examination room by a tech and waited for fifteen minutes with no word from anyone. Suddenly I hear Dr. Becker loudly berating his staff in a very abusive and demeaning fashion behind the closed door. He called them idiots and said he was deducting wages from their pay since he was "doing all the work for them". He said he would "continue to deduct wages until you idiots quit or find a new job in this economy." He was in a full blown rage. I was incredibly disturbed and shocked, especially since I had a very good experience with Sonia at the front desk. When he came in finally, red faced and slightly disheveled, I informed him that I found his behavior to be highly unprofessional. He apologized, yet continued to berate the staff and mock them..."did they just win the lottery?", he asked me, "you'd think so since they just can't do their jobs right." Granted, the doctor might have been having a bad day, but I will not do business with an employer who yells at and mistreats his staff. On top of all that, I came to find that I was charged for some supplemental liquid vitamins that I didn't even ask for. The staff was wonderful, but the doctor has some serious rage issues. I won't be coming back here again.

I have taken two dogs to Dr. Becker for over 12 years. The dogs have always been treated with compassion and I have always been provided with good service. Dr. B is not a vet for just the money because I have never been pressured to do any procedure. He not only answers all my questions but those of my 5 year-old as well. I am impressed by his staff and recognize familiar faces on each visit. From what I can tell...Dr. B helps his staff mature and become professionals since I have been a customer. I would not take my two old dogs or our new puppy anywhere else.
