Our animal got sick overnight and we took him to this place beacuse a close friend went there for years..My Husband took him and the Vet WAS VERY RUDE saying he needed surgery and treating him like he was a irresponsible pet owner. When as soon as he got sick we took him the very next day! and on top of that was very mean to our pet by swatting him on the head! trying to give him an enema.So the next day which was a Saturday He was still not doing good..so I went by there myself to get my animals paperwork and xrays so i could go else were to get a second opinion..It took everything in me not to go off on them! the people at the front desk are RUDE his wife I believe..and when i went up to the desk I asked for my animals paperwork..you would think as a vet you would be respectful But no in a tiny room crowded full of people waiting to be seen before i could even finish my sentence he yells out from the backroom..he needs surgery! And i'm thinking Yea I KNOW THAT! and I told thim im going else were and they didn't take that so well so.we went to a professional place! and he got the Help he needed! our animal swallowed a piece of foam. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE I don't care how low cost they are...I wasnt about to let a horrible vet open our pet up. I dont care how cheap they are I love my pet and i wanted to give him the good care he needed.

This is not your typical intercity veterinary office. That said, the care given to my K9 and the prices of that care are excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Disorganized and ineffective sums up this vet office. The lab work had been performed and all readings were good. Called for a medication refill and spoke to someone who said she would call back and they never did call back even though they said they would. Who is suffering now? Charging $3.25 per Previcox pill. Costco has Previcox for $2.78 per pill. Dog diagnosed with a spine condition when it was a HIP problem. They wanted to sedate the dog to perform x rays and keep the dog overnight. Not necessary at the other vet where the xrays were not a problem and performed immediately without sedation. There were clear and obvious signs - symptoms of a hip issue but a staff member employee insisted it was neuropathy in the hinds and a spine nerve problem and she was wrong. They open late, the vet never checked the dog, some lady there thought she knew what she was doing and was awfully combative, tactless and ultimately incompetent. They wanted to sedate the dog and keep the dog overnight to perform x-rays. At another vet neither sedation nor an overnight stay was required for x-rays that were performed immediately. Do not waste your time at this place. They will cost you and your pet enormous consternation.

I really like everyone who works at this clinic. They are nice and supportive. When my cat passed they were also very helpful with payment since I don't make very much money. I would give this place a 5 but the cleanliness is … well… HORRIBLE! I liked them so much I wanted to ask if I could clean there office for them. But when I really decided to look at the office I realized it was so much dirtier than I originally realized that Im afraid I was really disgusted. As a new client I did find it very hard to find out the hours of operation. They do not have a website and the hours are not on the voicemail messaging (they don't even have a voicemail message). There was no way to find out except to show and the line was long. I think I waited about 2 hours before I was seen just for a vaccination. So in case anyone is reading this to find out there hours I hope my post helps. As of April 2014 their hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm but they tend to stop taking patients (sign in sheet) around 4pm. Saturday they are open from 9:30am-3pm but do not accept new clients on Saturday, only during the week. Closed on Sundays. Great people! Great Care! Great prices! I will return to them. I just wish they were cleaner and their information more easily accessible (aka a website or at least an answering machine that told you the hours even if they didn't respond to messages left).

I agree with all the other 5 star reviews. I love the Elbels. They are very knowledgeable and are doing it for all the right reasons. Never had a bad experience. Bless their hearts!
