EXCELLENT CLINIC, with top levels of compassion and care. We currently have had 3 companion animals in their care, from puppy/kitten through mature dog, and recently needed their euthanasia service. In the approximately 40 years we have had shelter and rescue pets in our care, we have experienced the full run of vet experiences, and can say this is the best clinic and staff we have ever encountered. Every visit and service has been top notch. I won't even consider another facility unless it were an emergency situation. Trust them, they have earned their reputation.

Both Dr. Kyzar and Dr. Izard go beyond to take care of my dogs. The staff is extremely friendly and I will never go to a different vet. I highly recommend them if you want someone who cares.

They really need to add a totally AWESOME button on this by the way :) Returning back from overseas I needed to find a vet that would meet my needs and our time frame, a good friend of mine has been going to them for years, our first meeting was outstanding, my dogs came first, they cared, they loved on my two Danes, we chatted about many "dog" things and they took their time and didnt push anything on to us and I know that my dogs needs were in their best interested. If you are looking for a vet, stop looking and go to these guys...You wont be disappointed. Have a great Dane..oops I mean day :)

Today was our first visit, and the staff and Dr. Izard were all wonderful. Not only were they incredibly sweet and patient with my nervous Lab, the total cost was a fraction of what our previous vet would have charged for even one of the tests that they ran. While I am always wary of going to a new doctor (for me and my pets), I feel like this is a vet that I can stay with for a very long time.

Words can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with this place! Dr Kyzar is definitely San Antonio's dog whisperer without a doubt. I have a Dane that I rescued about 2 months ago and through diligent and continuous work with him, I have him out of fear of people... except vets. We have had some bad experiences with my dog meeting vets and have even been referred to Houston for a behaviorist to help us. Dr Kyzar was my last hope and came highly recommended to me. He took the time to have my Dane get to know him, did everything outside in their enclosed area so my dog was more comfortable, and by the end of the visit he was able to even do an oral exam with no problems. The other vet (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) even came out and met him and was giving him kisses on his nose. I was in tears when I got in my car *happy tears of course*. I recommend them to anyone, especially if you have one that is difficult like mine. Dr Kyzar was definitely sent here from God to work wonders with our pets! Thanks y'all!!!!!!
