I have been very happy with the service and care of the staff! I have left my dog overnight on two occasions and both times he came home happy. It is also affordable at only $16 a night. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I trust in the treatment this vet provides, which is why I am willing to drive all the way from Helotes to make sure they're my vet.

Wow. I called to get an estimate from them for a neuter and was quoted over $100 with services I did not request or give permission to include. I spoke to one of the "Doctors"...a "Dr." shoomaker or shoomeyer or something like that and she was absolutely rude telling me if all I cared about was money maybe I should go somewhere else...I don't know of too many people who don't think about money. I spoke to the owner I'm guessing, a Maryann Johnson who made excuses for that individual who was rude to me and said people have bad days. I listed my experience on their fb page and that mary ann person sent me a note saying they will no longer provide services to me. They over charge for everything and apparently treating their customers rudely is acceptable because they are making the big bucks from their overcharging with services you don't ask for/give permission to perform and can afford to lose customers. If you care about how you spend your money, go elsewhere. also, I took my cat to them to get dewormed and he still has worms.

What a wonderful experience! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, they had me fill out some paperwork as it was my first visit. Then after a short wait the sweet vet tech brought me into a well kept room where she and the doctor performed some tests on my new cat, Seymour. Visits to a vets office can be stressful on your animals but the staff made Seymour as comfortable as possible and they all seemed to genuinely care about his well being. the Test results were explained to me thoroughly and Seymour was given the proper treatments. Thank you, Converse animal hospital. I will definitely come back for all my pet care needs.

The Vet Tech did a good job administering the shots to our loving rott...But before,,,Was recommending and "pushing" everything she could to what it seemed like to run up our bill..Heartworm test and treatments, flea and tick meds, and Heartworm and Heartworm and Heartworm test, test, test, and treatments, and...well you get the idea... After saying NO for what seemed like the 20th time...She finally moved on when we asked her about the total cost BEFORE the shot treatment..She left once, came back and you guessed it...More Heartworm sales...No again and then left again and then came back with a "preliminary" bill of sale... Just make sure you get the "preliminary" bill so you don't get surprised when checking out...And remember it's your dog and you really do know what is best for your pet... It's OK but proceed with caution...Get the prices up front and BEFORE any services are rendered...
