I have visited this emergency pet center several times with different pets over the years. They are always very efficient and caring about diagnosing what may be the problem with your pet. All charges are discussed with you before any procedure is done and they spend the time necessary to make sure you understand what your role is in taking care of your pet's needs. It is really helpful to know they are open in the evening, as it seems that is always when my pets have problems!

If you love your pets as much as i love mine ( my pit is basically my child!!) I strongly recommend another place they were rude all they cared about was money up front they told me my dog was ok, then tell me the situation was dire and i had to pay 1400 up front before any thing else would happen took him to another vet spent under 100.these people just want to over charge you knowing you'll pay. Over priced, not worth the money payed 300 just to be seen and to give my Dog pain medicine that he needed do not go trust me

The services were very pricey, but so is going to a human ER without insurance. We took our puppy there after he had a hard time breathing. We were referred there by Dr. Erin Alexander in Uvalde. The staff was not nearly as good as those that we later dealt with at South Texas Veterinary Specialists, but they did take good care of our puppy that night.

This is the LAST PLACE you would want to take your beloved pet. If your beloved pet is brought to this location they will not be taken care of properly. Our dog was in a kennel and was completely covered in his own excrement. When we asked to have the dog cleaned they responded with this answer. We are extremely busy at this time and it will be a while before we can do this. We strongly encourage you to seek other emergency clinics.

Very professional. The techs use triage like a human ED. While there for a probable torn ACL in my pit bull, I witnessed them rush to the aid of a truly sick animal. The visit with the Vet, exam and meds the total came to $89.00. Unlike other reviews we were not offered help that was not pertinent to the care. I would use them again.
