I took my cat here about midnight on a Friday for swallowing a sewing needle, and they had him examined within 10 minutes, xrayed in 30, and in recovery about 6am that morning. The staff was friendly, calm, and the veterinarian explained all the possible outcomes and costs before they started anything. While I'm sure the price was more expensive than going to a nonemergency vet, it was actually a significant amount below the initial estimate. My cat was sent home at 2pm with some oral pain medication, antibiotics, and an e-collar. He's doing just fine now.

This is a long overdue review... My dog PJ was taken to the clinic because she had rectal bleeding and was very lethargic.Dr Gatti and Dr L were wonderful. My PJ would have died if it wasnt for the great care we received. Thank you again to the Dr's and the staff for everything they did for PJ.

Horrible place, they just want your money. I had a mix up and needed a refill on my dogs heart meds. I made the mistake of coming here. It didn't look like a vet, I had to ask if I was in the right place. Her Cardiologist is 3 hours away at the A&M Hospital, not only would they not call A&M, but they started listing tests they wanted to do before they would give a temporary refill. I realized they weren't there to help pets. All they wanted was to run up a bill with needless test. I caught on and told them they would not touch my dog. The People at the Sonterra location were helpful and only charged for the pills. It's too bad they are owned by the same group.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER ,NEVER, EVER TAKE YOUR PET HERE. NEVER I WARN YOU! PLEASE! DO NOT DO NOT! TAKE THEM HERE. I brought my Dutchess here after at our regular vet she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I was desperate and rushed her to the first emergency vet becasue they said she was critical and may not have long to live. I did have financial concerns but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't splurgin on things that she did not need or would make a difference. I was willing to pay for what she needed. I spent over $2,000.00 here. My concern was this. They were SO RUDE! The staff was SO MEAN ADN RUDE! I was in a horrendous state and so heartbroken with what was going on and when I would try and smile small and make small talk to the techs and receptionist i was treated like i was bothering them. They kept telling me "WHAT"? Like they could not hear me! THEY DO NOT CARE FOR PETS. We hospitalized for 48 hours. At 24 hours for a visit theybrought my Dutchess in with her nose bleeding! I asked what happened and they said she hit her nose last night and was just bleeding. IRONICALLY as soon as I got a tissue and wiped it off it miraculously stopped bleeding! IT had just happened probably from them pulling her by here neck with a small rpe by her neck. My poor girl I absolutely hate myself for leaving her here but I wanted her to get better so bad! The last day when we going to take her home becasue treatment was not going well and she was crying for hours on end I got ready to cash out and asked if they could bring her out becasue she was in the kennel just crying and crying. They told me know I had to pay first I handed her my credit card and said you ahve y card PLEASE bring her out. They proceeded to take thier time and didnt bring her out for a whole hour as they kept processing "paperwork". There was so much more wrong with this place. so much more things. But just talking about this breaks my heart. We ended up having to put my Dutchess to sleep 4 days later at another ER clinic and they WERE SO SO SO SO nice. Town and Country Vet Hospital. IT BROKE MY HEART completely to regret not bringing her here in the first place and paying them for her ER care. They held her and talked to her and let us visit in the back with her. And uses a harness like we requested instead of a neck collar. SO SO much better. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT RAKE YOUR PET HERE! SPEND YOUR MONEY IN A BETTER PLACE THAT CARES FOR YOUR VET. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE! They are so HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! ;''''''''''-(((((((

I was happy with the care my dog received, and the way I was treated, when we brought him to this location at 6 PM on a Thursday after he ate some chocolate.They took my dog the second I walked in and explained the process very thoroughly. The charges were reasonable, the post-exam directions were clear, and the staff was (mostly) friendly. Overall, I was impressed and would recommend this location to family and friends.
