At first I was very impressed with the clinic and the staff. I had taken my Maltese and blue-throated macaw for visits, and had (as in past-tense) an appointment for our Chinese Crested. One staff member completely changed my opinion of the office with her pretentious and completely disrespectful attitude, They do NOT value customer service and have no appreciation whatsoever for the customer. When I say I wouldn't take a dog there I mean it.

I love GNWAH!!! I went to them for 6 years, and only stopped because I moved 5 hours away. I always knew they were a wonderful hospital, but it really sank in once I had to find a new clinic in my new town. GNWAH is CLEAN! The staff is amazing, kind, friendly, and caring. I don't think that I've ever waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, and even then the staff would check on me and let me know that there was a hold up. There have been a few times that I had to take my dog in for non routine appointments, and they've always made a point to be able to get me in quickly. Doctor Johnson is wonderful. He's very patient and well informed. Anytime I've ever had a question he has taken the time to not only answer it, but explain it in a way that I understand. He understands that our pet is a part of our family, and treats her accordingly. He even makes follow-up calls to check to see if she is okay a few days after her appointments, my son's pediatrician doesn't even do this!!! I cannot say enough positive things about this vet hospital and wish that I still lived in San Antonio so I could continue to use them.

I have been coming to Great Northwest Animal Hospital for almost 10 years now. I love Dr Johnson because he truly cares about all of the patients he sees. I know this because he takes time out of his busy schedule to call me the day after our appointments to see how my animals are doing. His staff is phenomenal and far exceeds friendly customer service. Their level of care and professionalism is second to none. I will continue to bring all of my animals to GNWAH for years to come and I highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Dr. Johnson is a straight talker. No unnecessary charges and tests, only what is necessary. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. Highly recommend.

We have been going to GNWAH for over 11 years and wouldn't trust the care of our babies to anyone else. The docs and staff are outstanding and we are very lucky to have found Great Northwest Animal Hospital when we moved to San Antonio and needed vet care.
