I took my mom's dog in to get her annual shots and a microchip. Dr. Cristina Noltenius was fantastic, thorough, informative, and helpful. I think she should own her own pet hospital. She would put everyone out of business with her excellent care. My mom's dog did not feel a thing when she got her shots and the recommendations for dental care and weight gain were helpful. There were two specials going on for flea/tick and heart worm prevention, but neither were pushed on us. The only two issues I had were the scale was not working and the receptionist did not seem to have any experience with computers (because she messed up our address while trying to update it) or scientific scales (I had to show her how to use the tare function and explain why it was important to use it). The receptionist was very kind and very professional, I just feel she needed more training. We went Saturday during walk-in hours and the wait was nonexistent. Also, in the past, I have brought a few other of my mom's animals in the past to get fixed here and have always been pleased with the care received. To my memory, we brought a male dog in 2008 to get fixed and he received pain medications for a week and it only cost $10.

They don't answer their phones during normal business hours.

Check around for Spay and neuter service because you can get better prices at a vets office and not have to wait 2 Weeks for an appointment

I took our two cats to be spayed here. I was contacted with an appointment within two days of filling out the online form. The appointment was within a two week period. The people are very nice and efficent. Of the 40 or so people in line on a saturday morning, they made quick work of signing everyone in. It was the after care that I was unimpressed with. Upon arrival home, after the surgery, my cats were going crazy trying to get out of the kennel. They never settled down. You'd think after a surgery they would just laydown and sleep it off. They were up all night. I called the emergency number that night with no luck. I also called on Sunday, no answer or return call. (you have to leave a message on the emergency line) In despiration I gave them some pain meds I had from my dog's surgery (from our real vet) and they finally laid down and slept. I called the emergency line on Monday to tell them what happened, no return call. I called the emergency line on Tuesday and finally recived a call from a vet tech at almost 5pm. She said that wasn't right and maybe someone forgot to give pain meds (?) before they left the hospital. She said she'd get the vet to call me. The vet didn't call until Wednesday afternoon, she left a voicemail but when I went to return her call I got another machine. We were not given any pain meds for the cats when we left the office. The post op care was non existent. The emergency number is not monitored with any sense of urgency. Don't expect to talk to a person if you call any of the phone numbers listed. If you need low cost spay or neuter, this is the place to come, just don't expect good post-op care.
