My dog has been on seizure meds for about 5 years. About a year and a half ago, I quite our previous vet, Traveling Tails, because they kept trying to force me into paying for unnecessary lab tests on threat of not renewing my pet's prescription. We moved to TVA and our dog was treated by Dr. Dahmi. I explained my complaint about frequent lab testing and he said no problem, if we get your dog stabilized we could go a year without repeating the test. Well, Dr. Dahmi has since moved on and the new vet is trying to force us into more unnecessary labs under threat of not renewing my pet's prescription. Needless to say, I'm moving again, and this time, will likely file a complaint with the state vet board.

I took my dog because he was suffering a skin condition likely due to allergies. They were able to take me in the same day, and everyone was very friendly and attentive to me and my companion. Dr. Susmilch spent a lot of time with me discussing everything from the common scenario to the worst case scenario in detail while the labs were being run. He even sat on the floor with my dog while talking to me. :) It's nice to see that some doctors still care about pets and customer service. I'm not sure how affordable their services are because this was such an odd visit for me, but I feel comfortable with the medications and care that I received that we will be sure to go back for all of our veterinary needs.

The staff here is very kind and helpful, they like & are nice to my dog even though he can be difficult sometimes, and the prices are great. We can always get in the day we call for an appointment too. My dog has issues with getting his nails trimmed, but we've brought him here a few times and have been happy every time. They always try hard to make my dog comfortable with them so that they can trim his nails without knocking him out. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I was very unimpressed with the service I received at this veterinary hospital. When I arrived I was asked to fill out ridiculous amounts of paperwork that in no way pertained to why I was bringing in my pet. When I was brought into a room the technician had me sign and fill out yet more paper work telling them I would pay the estimated bill. I thought this was very rude. Are you more concerned with my money or the health of my pet? When the doctor finally came in I have never been so insulted in my life. She talked to me like I was 5 years old. She was very condiscending when explaining to me what she saw on my pet and her recommendations. I may not be in the veterinary profession but I'm not an idiot either. Over all I was very disattisfied with the hospital and am in search of another hospital who actually cares about my pet and not about the dollar or belittleing the costumer.
