I have been taking my pets to The Ark Pet Hospital to visit Dr. Hubenak for several years now and this review is long overdue! I have taken both my cat and dog to the Ark and have felt comfortable in doing so since day one. Dr. Hubenak is very experienced with a wide variety of species ranging from cats and dogs, to fish, reptiles and even sea turtles! He and his staff are very caring and careful when handling my pets and they always take the time to explain his recommendations and my options as well as insight on medications/shots. I have never felt pressured to follow through with any procedure, but at the same time, I always feel that I've gained an excellent value and an unsurpassed quality that I have yet to gain from any other vet. My latest visit to the Ark Pet Hospital involved my dog's broken tooth that required an extraction. Again, Dr. H as they refer to him at the office was very helpful in explaining the process, giving insight to other procedures (root canals, steel caps..) I am so confident in Dr. Hubenak's abilities that I opted to drive 300 miles from where now live, rather than try to find a comparable vet through trial and error. BTW Bagheera's mouth has healed incredibly well and he never showed the slightest signs of being in any pain, his wounds never opened back up or bled, and within 2 weeks he's back to regular food and even playing rough with his rope toy. I cant thank these guys & gals enough for the peace of mind I'm able to enjoy knowing my beloved animals are in such good care!

My daughter and I recently took her hamster, Bear, to the Ark Pet Hospital to have his teeth trimmed. What a fantastic experience! Dr. Hubenak let my daughter watch and explained exactly what he was doing the whole time. I have already passed along Dr. Hubenak's information directly to another friend with a hedgehog. I must say that while we went for exotic animal care, I would highly recommend the Ark Pet Hospital to anyone with any kind of pet. They are kind, courteous and concerned about your pet and your comfort level in caring for your furry friend!

Great vet and a very friendly staff. I have taken my dog there from when I first got him home and they have always answered my questions and given good advice.

The Dr. here is so good with animals. My old cat doesn't really like other people but he dealt with them in a very gentle caring manner. My cat even seemed to like him just a little. this is very out of the ordinary and I take it to me he is a good person.
