I have been bringing my pets to VCA Animal Hospital of Leon Springs since 2003 when I arrived in San Antonio. I have a dog and a cat. I see Dr. Massey for my cat and Dr Mims for my golden retriever. The office staff and doctors make certain you feel as if you are the most important client they have and they do the same for their four legged guests. They laugh and cry with you and most importantly, offer an exceptional level of care for my "guys". I highly recommend this clinic. The Doctors are extremely knowledgeable and have always been spot on with diagnosis and treatment. I almost forgot to mention the Vet Techs!! They are AWESOME!

I was referred to this vet and took in my cat for a check up. Everyone was very friendly and very nice. They spoke to me professionally, but in a way that someone who knows no technical terms could understand. (I hate it when vets blabber on in words they clearly know nobody but another vet understands) I was never rushed to get out and asked many times if I had any questions or concerns. My cat will be going back for the rest of his life. You must give this place a try.

Very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, very expensive. $370 for annual vaccinations for my two dogs and that was on half price Wednedays. My biggest disappointment is that for the second year I have taken my dogs there, they never address the issue I brought them in for, skin allergies and joint pain. My previous vet ( in Arlington) had my dog on Duramax for her joint pain and would give her an allergy shot during when needed. This vet tries to sell me $120 worth of Vitamines and put her on a strict regiment of benedryl. I tell them over and over again I already do this and my dog need more. They don't listen. I am done with this vet.

I actually adopted a dog from the Humane Society and got referred to VCA hospital and will be bringing my dog here for the rest of her life! I was so pleased with how friendly the receptionist was when I made my appointment, I couldn't wait to bring in my dog. After meeting the vet techs and veteranarian (Dr. Izard) I knew that it was a great decision to take her there. I will be coming back here anytime I need anything, it's in a great location & everyone there is friendly. What more could you ask for? :)
