I recently had to split a payment into two payments, because the amount was very large, I have had to do this before, so I was not concerned. I was shocked when I received a insufficient funds notice from my bank. I have never, never had this to happen before. I called and spoke with the office manager, I asked her to call my bank, and speak with a service manager, and try to fix the problem, caused when instead of holding my check, like they said they would, they ran it. She called me back, saying she had spoken briefly with a service rep, and of course they could do nothing, DUH that is why I asked her to speak with a manager. This told me that the clinic was truly not willing to do anything to fix this matter. My account is in the red, and I cannot purchase any food or supplies with the small amount that I still had in my account, not nice! I received no help, no what can we do to fix this, nothing, zip. Very, very poor professional courtesty from the clinic staff. I really do like the doctors at this clinic, but I simply cannot be treated like this! Update to my bad experience, my snoopy got a intestinal infection, a bad one, this happened just before we went on vacation, so the resort would not take him, so I had to board snoopy with the temple clinic, as he still needed his meds. The first thing I noticed when I picked him up was how filthy he was, and he smelled like a toilet. So a bath was on the first to do list, when we got home. As soon as I put him down, he ran for the water bowl, and finished it off. not a good sign. We took him outside to see if he needed to take care of business, before the bath, and wow did he ever, he squatted several times, also not good , when you consider he was there for a intestinal infection, did they not even give him any time outside to walk so he could poo? I was very upset, this was not very good care. Then after the bath as I was drying snoopy I found where his side was swollen, a large lump! How the crap did that happen! Then to my shame after about two weeks, when I was doing his brushing I found both his ears very red and inflamed! I was horrified, thank goodness, I had meds on hand to treat him. I also called and complained to the office manager, and you guessed it nothing was done. No dog should have been shown such neglect as my poor little dog was, you are paying for professional care, and my snoopy did not get that. I hug him all the time now, there is nothing I can do to make up to him all that he went through there, will not make that mistake again.

I recently had brought my cat in for a chlamydia flare. The vet gave him a shot and eye drops to remedy the situation. I had to bring my cat back in two weeks later because the situation was not resolved. In fact, it was significantly worse. He is now going blind because the proper treatment was not given to him. To add to the situation, they had the audacity to charge an additional $50 fee for his revisit. Had he received the proper care the first time, I wouldn't have needed to bring him back in.

Our dog has been having some skin irritation so we took him to Temple Vet Hospital to have it checked out. Without consulting us the vet gave him a $43 dollar steroid shot and $85 worth of vaccines, including rabies. He also subscribed an allergy pill and shampoo. The total was $177.85. When my wife got home she checked our records and discovered our dog did not need any vaccines nor a rabies shot. I went back to the vet and explained to the receptionist that the vaccines were not requested and not needed. I pointed out that his records indicate he has had all the necessary vaccinations and that he has a rabies tag on his collar. I also pointed out that the vet did not tell my wife that he was giving a $43 steroid shot. If he had, we would not have wanted it. The receptionist said she'd check with the vet. After about 15 minutes she came back and said she would credit the $85 since he didn't need the vaccines or rabies, but without the vaccines, they'd have to charge a $52 office visit. She said the steroid shot is standard for skin irritation so she can't do anything about that. So my refund for a bunch of stuff I didn't ask for and didn't need was $33. The vet did not even bother to come out and discuss it with me (which is really the frustrating part). I asked the receptionist to please tell the vet he needs to communicate what he's doing and how much it will be before he does it. There are lots of vets in Temple, so we will definitely be finding a new one.
