This pet store has some of the worst employees I've ever seen at a pet store. All of the ones I encountered were either uneducated about dogs or they were willfully lying to me about puppy nutrition and an assortment of other training related dog care tips. The manager is the worst culprit of all as she insists that no dog can leave the store without you first buying their overpriced food that has the same shit in it as the Rachel Ray brand at Wal-Mart. What is worse than that and that really puts a bad taste in my mouth for this place is that I had to return several items they had sold me due to their inability to hold up for longer than 2 weeks and when I opted to get my money back so I could purchase elsewhere I was given store credit instead after of course I had just spent $700 in their store recently. The only reason that this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is due to the fact that they were willing to negotiate on the price of the animal we purchased some time ago. Save yourself a miserable experience and just purchase your supplies on Amazon and get a pet from a breeder. At least then you will have more options of what goes into your pets rather than having them inhumanely raised in a cage the first few months of their life while they become accustomed to defacating indoors like their are unfortunately taught to do while in their stay at a pet shop like this one.

I purchased a bird at Petland in Tyler TX and the staff is very helpful. One person in particular helped me train my bird to mind me which in turn got the nervousness away from owning one (I haven't owned a pet bird in my life). They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will go no where else when it comes to purchasing what I need for my pets. One of the best things about the shop is the animals are in contact with people, which I find to be very important. They are currently remodeling and can't wait to see the final presentation.

I LOVE buying fish from Petland but their fish tank stands are alittle over priced. Their service is pretty nice, overall I think 4 stars.

I absolutely love this store! I can always find exactly what I need, no matter if it's for my rabbit, dog, cat, or macaw! They are so awesome! And I always love talking to the employees there, they are super sweet and very intelligent. Their pets are healthy too, I've bought many animals from them and have always have great luck! (I fall in love almost everytime I go in there! :3 ) So go there! They are wonderful!
