We took our dog Blu in with a broken leg. The staff was fantastic, super friendly environment. Until the vet came in. He told us the cost of the x-ray, we then needed to look at the cost of everything. We asked him what we were looking at, what our options were, his opinion on the whole situation, we told him we had just got our puppy over parvo so we were a little tight, he said "well nothing we can do about that". We NEVER said we COULDN'T afford it, we were just being cautious with our funds. When he came back, he showed us the fractures, and said "with your financial problems surgery probably isnt an option." Financial problems? How did he know we had any? I mean, not that we're loaded, but we are okay, our dogs are cared for and loved..... which is why we were at the vet! We WERE having to consider costs, because we had just got over an expensive case of parvo with our puppy. He then proceeded to LECTURE US about how "expensive" dogs are. He said "I know you guys may WANT a dog but fact is they arent cheap. UM..... EXCUSE ME? All in all as SOON as we mentioned costs the "Friendly" vet immediately shut down... if he was ever friendly to begin with. We wouldn't know because the FIRST thing he said to us was "we have to do an xray itll be $100. Like he was just testing us from the start. It was terrible. He was telling us we didn't need our dogs because we were not financially stable enough for them. That was NOT his place, we paid our vet bill with no problem and he had no right to make us feel like bad pet owners! The staff and facility were great, but we were there to see the VET, who was AWFUL. SO RUDE! Did NOT care about us or our dog at all, only money!

Dr. Wurster and his staff are very caring and friendly. They've treated several pets of ours from birth through theirs lives and I wouldn't have anyone else.

So far we have had good results with this vet clinic.
