Absolutely incredible facility! Very personalized experience and they go the extra mile. I have my 5 month old puppy in daycare and was so pleasantly surprised when they provided a "report card" with photos of her playing with two of her new friends! I loved that I was able to see her having fun and playing with her peers when I can't be there myself :)
I saw the rave reviews so I called to inquire about the costs and make an appointment. I spoke to one of the Veterinarians herself. She quoted me the exam fee and medication for my cat's problem. When I got there, they added on cleaning fees, microscope fee, and a medical waste fee! And of course, they wanted to vaccinate my pet 2 months early, for our convenience. This is why people go on the internet to order medicine and try to self treat first. What a joke!
Everyone at Stream Valley goes out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as possible for the animals and their humans. One of my dogs is extremely nervous and a very uncooperative patient. However, Dr. Kirk and all of the technicians couldn't be nicer about it. They take their time with her, patiently giving her treats & they clearly try their hardest to help her relax a little before they work on her. I have also boarded my dogs there & that seemed to go smoothly, as well. I always have a good feeling about the care they receive at Stream Valley.
Stream Valley has been a wonderful and caring place for our cat. Recently, our cat was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. The entire Stream Valley team has been incredibly supportive in providing hospice care. Both Dr. Signorino and Dr. Kirk are very compassionate and have taken extra time explaining end of life choices to me and my 10 year old daughter. I know our cat has received the very best care possible. I look forward to working with them again when we adopt our next cat.
We have known the Stream Valley Vet staff and Dr. Corey for over 6 years now. Not only have they provided great care for our two dogs, but they look at the practical way of treating dogs (one of our dogs hates going to the vet, so he gets seen in the green grass training area instead of the exam room), and mix it with a great deal of compassion (3.5 hours at home with us as we said good bye to one of our dogs). I challenge any pet owner to find a more knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating staff. To them, it truly is about the animals, and they just so happen to make a living at it (versus making a living out of making you pay out the nose for pet care!)
