I took my previous dog there for all 10 years I had him, and I can't complain about his treatment until the end. I didn't have a regular doctor there and saw whoever fit my schedule, but assumed each one reviewed the charts before his appointments to familiarize themselves with his history. When he collapsed and couldn't stand, I rushed him to the vet where they drew blood, ran tests, etc. One week later, I took him back and this time I noticed my dog's weight listed on the receipt was 10lbs less than a week ago. I was alarmed and called and was told they just didn't update their system regularly. I went back through his records to find he had lost about 20% of his body weight in 6 months - something that should have been a red flag to the doctors there! Turns out he had liver disease and after specialists and thousands of dollars, I got about 6 more months with him. When it came time to put him down, I did so at the emergency vet since it was a Sunday and Falls Church Animal Hospital wasn't open. The specialist who had been seeing him wasn't in that day, but on Tuesday I received a condolence card from her. I called Falls Church to tell them I put my dog down, returned unused fluids and donated unused dog food - I never got so much as a card or a call from them! While they front desk staff there was fabulous, I am still very disappointed that the doctors there missed a key indicator of a health issue and never reached out to offer there sympathy after being a client for so many years. So much so that when I got my new dog, I found a new vet.

Amazing!!!!! The Staff was so nice to our dog! He had a stomach problem when we came in he was very tired and breathing weirdly and he was throwing up. When we came out he was running an barking and as happy as a clam!
