The staff are very caring and compasionate. They really helped ease our pain with putting our dog to rest. Our dog had Spleen cancer for a long time and had way out lived predictions. When the time came our vet was closed so we had to go the Leesburg Emergency Vet. I was apprehensive as I wanted it to be as painless as it could be for our 14.5 year old Labrador. The staff couldn't have been better, they provided us with an exam room to wait in so that we didn't have to sit out in the Lobby. The vet who administer the medication to put her to sleep was very kind and my dog passed peacefully! I can't say enough. THANKS!

Unfortunately my little chihuahua had to come here earlier this week. It was 10pm on Wednesday when I decided to bring her in. She had been panting and acting very odd for about 2 hours so I called to see if I could get some advice. I called and immediately was transferred to a vet-tech who asked a lot of questions about what was going on. She advised me to come in. We showed up about 45 min later and the vet-tech I spoke with was waiting for us in the lobby. She took Benita back to check all of her vitals while I filled out her paperwork. Within a short time we met with the vet. He was such a compassionate and genuinely nice guy. In the back of my head this whole time, I was thinking...."This is going to cost me a fortune!" We went ahead and let the vet give her 2 shots and told us he was going to put her on some antibiotics. It was nice because they took her in the back so I didn't have to watch the shots being given. The 2 ladies up front were so sweet and friendly. They rang me up and to my surprise, we only spent $156 for everything! Considering how much time they spent with her and all that they did, AND it was after hours, I was very pleased. Such a great establishment!

Seriously the best integrated veterinarian care you can buy. I drive over an hour and a half to go here because I believe in the exceptional care they provide

We had to take our dog in recently to get a cruciate tear fixed. The cost killed us but hey, it's out dog and we'll do anything to help her quality of life. It's a great center, and the dr. that talked to us was very nice. he also performed the surgery and called us back immediately after words. The front desk staff, however, is another story. Their compassion and customer service was about as warm as a Virginia winter day. They all looked/acted like they didn't want to be there! so if you have to do business there, grin and bear the front desk staff-otherwise, you're good to go.

I am the proud owner of a 10 year old German Shepherd who recently underwent emergency surgery at TLC. She had a splenic mass that was bleeding into her abdominal cavity. From the time we entered TLC to her eventual discharge, my husband and I were pleased with the high quality of care provided. Her condition was explained to us in detail as was the emergency surgery that needed to be performed. The attending surgeon called us before beginning the surgery at 1:30 am and also called us when the surgery was completed around 3:00 am. The on-call critical care physician then called us at 7:00 am the next morning with an update. Through the four days that our dog remained hospitalized, we were consistently able to receive a daily update from the on-call veterinarian as well as regular nursing care updates. In addition, we were encouraged to visit. All staff members—vets, vet techs and the front desk were helpful and compassionate during this very stressful time. Thank you Drs. Barnes, Loveland and Leonard and the rest of the TLC staff!
