Took my cat in, suspecting cancer with the rapid weight loss that was the main symptom. Blood work was done, went home with an appetite stimulant, perscribed for every 3 days but no conclusive diagnosis. $200+. Then took him over to SV Animal Hosp. $500, 2 more days of torment to my cat, and still no diagnosis. Took him to Pet Emerg.Clinic and within 10 minutes confirmed per x-rays my suspicions. Why didn't the other vets say I think we should 'start' with x-rays? When the vet brings out10 different types of testing and treatments, I expect them to be professional enough to pick the practical solutions first before putting my cat thru the trauma and spending my money with no regard. Not putting my pets in either one of these vets hands again.
