My 5 1/2 month old Chug was sick and I had to have my niece bring her to see Dr. Newman. This is the first time I've seen this doctor. I've had other experiences here, however, this experience was by far the absolutely worst I've ever experienced. They lectured us for not brining in a stool sample when we were not asked to. Dr. Newman was so incredibly rude, my niece almost left in tears. I missed a set of boosters and he said my dog is supposed to have a booster ever 3 weeks and I shouldn't have a dog if I dont' know how to take care of them! He said they're a lot to focus on just like a baby and I was breaking the law because I missed a set of boosters. I understand how important vaccinations and visits to the vet are. However, my niece did not need to get the brunt of Dr. Newman. If he had an issue he should have taken it up with me. They were well aware that the owner of the dog was not there. I will never enter this place AGAIN!

This animal hospital is the best vet we have ever been to. Kind, compassionate, and willing to help. They don't shame like other vets do, don't make you feel bad for not coming in or not brushing your dogs teeth. They're realistic. They take care of their boarded animals very kindly. Go to this vet. :)

I Can't give an adequate rating for this vet clinic -they rate 0. Nothing. 1/31/14 My 9yo cat was given a diagnosis of Hypertension & Hyperthyroid in 2012. These are life long that require daily medication - regular lab work 2-4 times a year dependent on progression and or stability. After this diagnosis, she had been back to them twice, only for them to exhibit unforgivable inadequacies,(other reviews). I took her else where, (her current vet). Nearly 2 years now this vet has been trying to 'stabilize' the conditions diagnosed by the Animal Hospital- Maple Valley. 10/14 I gave up with the daily medication. The stress on us both trying to get pills down her; she wouldn't take them in her food or treats. The- wrap her in a rug, try to pry her jaw open & and put these pills down her throat without her spitting them up. All along her yelling,"NOOOO". Seriously. I had come to terms that I will loose my friend, but this was in no way a quality life for her; couldn't say administering pills everyday would help the hypertension. We went last week for her blood work & had blood pressure checked. She has NO INDICATION of either condition diagnosed by Animal Hospital- Maple Valley. NOTHING. These don't cure themselves. These are lifelong ailments. Was this a miracle cure? OR was she misdiagnosed from the very beginning? What would you think? Are you willing to take a chance with your loyal friend? Something's not right here. These people are supposed to be college educated professionals - we come to them because they chose to learn & practice this profession & charge a fee for their services. Where is the vindication?? If this post alone can or will keep people from Animal Hospital- Maple Valley - that's a start. Thanks for reading

I've taken my cat here to be micro-chipped and it seemed okay but they wouldn't let me back with my cat when they did it, which seemed odd. Now I have older cat that needs to be shaved do to mats and they want $65 just to shave a cat. I pay $55 to have my large collie dog completely bathed and professionally groomed. Total rip off!!!! I think they want so much $$ just to avoid having to deal with an older cat (15yrs), lady on the phone sounded hesitant to even look at an older cat. I feel like they would rather just put my cat to sleep then provide medical care.

Moved to Maple Valley 3 years ago and took my dog to for her first check up. I got a lecture on how I should spay my dog, even after explaining to them I was planning on have one litter in a couple years. Took my dog back there to get X-rays to see how many pups I was going to have, they said at least 10, so when 8 came out and not at least 10 I eventully had to take my dog in just to be sure there were no other pups inside her, that was $200. Fortunately there weren't any left. I can understand if you tell me we are having 8 and 10 come out, but if you tell me I'm having 10 and 8 come out someone screwed up. Not going there again and neither should you.
