Super friendly staff and a wonderful vet. they took such good care of my cat when she wasn't feeling well!

I went to this Clinic in February. I was wanting a rabies titer test done to take my dogs to Japan with me. The reason I did not have NAS Whidbey Island Vet do it was because I had an appointment and 1 week before my appointment they shut down the clinic due to funding issues. With that being said my price went up from about $200 to $500 anywhere else on the island and off island until I called this clinic and they gave me a price of $320. I was completely fine with that! All you need is the two rabies certificates with the microchip number in the certificates and their shot record. They also said that they get a free grooming so I informed them I would not use their groomer and my dogs grooming would be completely on them. They told me its fine. I showed up to my appointment 30 minutes early so they could have enough time to enter everything in and prep for the blood draw and paper work. They took me into the room right away. The one vet tech told me I was completely unorganized and had none of the paper work to enter japan ready and in nicer words I am stupid. I was not leaving until end of July. Told me they could not do it. First of all for any of you military going to Japan you need to do the paper work your self and the vet does not sign off on it period even for the 40 days prior and 10 days prior notice coming into the country. I was 4 months away. She told me I had no correct paper work done. I told them that they did not need any other paper work than what I just handed them. The vet came in and instead of her talking the vet tech talked for her. No miss vet tech you have no idea what needs to be done. At the end of the day they did the paper work and the vet tech who said I was stupid and did not know what I was doing and handed me papers that i "needed to do my homework" which was all out of date of the forms. Finally when I came back that afternoon with her knowing I was right asked me to check all the numbers and information about the dogs and when I went and checked their Microchip number she snapped at me in front of my husband saying they already checked it I told them well you told me to check all the information. Next time if there is a next time I have to do this I will just pay the extra $180 not to be called stupid and unorganized. Also when I got to Japan the animal quarantine people where amazed how quickly everything went and the Vet on base was so impressed they said I should get an award or teach people how to do this because they never had someone so on top of everything and it wasn't because of these people it was because most paper work you do not get until the 40 days prior to departure! Just for all your information about grooming I told them once a month after wards and 3 times the month I was leaving including the day before I do not get my dogs groomed through you, you did not do sanitation(poodles) cut and I had to get it done 2 weeks later by my other groomer because they had patches on them so take me off your calling list. I would not be shocked they call in August and get a discounted phone number! The reason I gave them a 2 star is because they actually did the test and did not give me a hard time when I picked up my results but never again will I go through them!
